Well I had my first experience with Cigars International Customer Service. I had ordered a Humi-Care digital hygrometer from them back in November. Well after a few months of trying to calibrate and adjust it without luck I finally gave up. Called CI and they sent a new hygro out to me which I recieved 3 days later! This one is working like a charm and I've got the adjustments made already.

It's good to see a well working customer service department for a change! Thanks CI.

I haven't had any problems with C.I. but one shipment of sticks from their sister site was messed up. They took care of it right away and sent me some more pronto.

Nice win! Yeah, I am trying to avoid that site.. its evil. Since I found that site, I am broke and my humidors are over flowing =)

I referred a boss to Cigars International. He had always bought his sticks locally, but saw me browsing a catalog at my desk one day. So he ordered a couple of boxes from them and when they showed up one box was incorrect. He called them up and they immediately shipped the correct box at no additional charge and told him to keep the mistaken one.

I had the pleasure of calling them just once to ask a simple question about having them ship cigars to a friend as a gift and they were great to work with. CI is one of the few companies I get to deal with that is doing it right.

Union job.... I do tech support for telecom systems. Plenty of downtime while waiting on the customer to find out what it is that they want.

Brings up a good queston that I hadn't thought of; Does CI provide the same level of support for products purchased through CigarBid or is it like buying at the NorthFace outlet where you get the item discounted but the lifetime warranty isn't there?
