I didn't either - until I studied crashes for a living. In it's basic form - the larger the momentum (Mass X velocity) - the worse the crash. What most people don't realize - the crash forces of about a 35 MPH BEV crash (Barrier Equivalent Velocity = hitting a solid barrier at 35 mph) will definitely ruin your day, and is almost certainly fatal. The human body is not designed to handle those kinds of crash forces very well.![]()
