Once the package leaves the USA, that all the info you'll get.
European postal service is hit or miss. It will get there eventually.
Putting DC on an international package is a waist of money. You will get NO confirmation of the delivery.

I send a lot of DVD's home to my sister. They come out months earlier in the USA.
Some get there in 3 days others can take 3-4 weeks. I have had some go as long as 6 weeks. All sent in the same way. First class airmail. I have had parcel post packages take months ( do to the fact they go cargo ship). I only do that when the weight makes it to expensive for airmail. My guess is this is a customs hold up.
was it sent to an APO or a German residence?

It was an APO addy.

It just has to get through our system. Joe, I know it's fustrating, believe me. I'm checking my box everyday and when I get a notification that I got a parcel I run up hoping it will be the box. Two days ago, I got something that my wife ordered from Amazon. Thank God she wasn't with me when I said that woman orders to much crap from them!

I want it to get here so I can get it out to the next person.

I checked today. Nothing. I'll keep you all posted.

If you don't get the package within a day or two. I may have to be shuffled to the bottom of the deck. I'm leaving for Ireland in August to see my family, then straight to our home in Mexico for two months. I won't return to the USA untill the 7th of November.
