Thread: Davidoff Chateau Margaux 1970s

  1. Default Davidoff Chateau Margaux 1970s

    Dear Friends,

I am excited to say that I recently found some quality banded 1970s cabinets of Davidoff Chateau Margaux lurking at the back of my Directors reserve humidor

These cigars usually sell for £1450 per cabinet but I have persuaded him to part with them for the reduced price of only £1050 to our customers outside of the European Union. This price is inclusive of shipping

These cigars are not available to view/buy on our website. If you would like to order a box you can do so by using the following special link. Just leave the comment "Davidoff Margaux" and we will run the appropriate charge to your credit card

  4. Default far from a scam

    Hi there

    Thanks for the reply

We haven't survived for 135 years by scamming our loyal customers

We are Scotland's oldest and most reputable cigar merchant established in 1874.

But if you dont want to buy these great cigars that's OK. There are just a handful of cabinets left so only a lucky few customers will get them

I just wanted to make the BB community aware they were available at all

    Much better
It was just a little strange/confusing placing a order the way it was before

I know of only one place in Hong Kong that still has Cuban Davidoffs. In the UK even Davidoffs in London does not have any. They claim the supply has been exhausted. The Hong Kong Seller is legit but does not offer mail service. You have to buy em & smoke em in thier lounge. Don 't waste your money boys.

Really ? I beg to differ particularly having just left Edward Sahakian at Davidoff of London who has always sold Davidoff's in singles and occasionally boxes and cabinets as well

My Company has been specialising in vintage Havana cigars and particularly vintage Davidoff and Dunhill for the last 13 years or so and at any one time have around 100 or so boxes/cabinets in our inventory.

In fact we would be happy to receive enquiries for a variety of vitolas that we are due to release in the next few weeks including Chateau and Mille series from the 70's and 80's

Our supply is far from exhausted

    Kind regards

Not that you know me from a can of paint, but whiskey is pretty well known throughout the cigar world.

Also there are certianly Davidoffs to be had as collectors sell things off, trade them away etc. The opportunities are fewer than they were say 5 years ago, but one can have Davidoffs in hand at decent prices with a few well placed calls.

We had a lot of interest but the problem in DC is location. People in DC wanted a DC location, people in Md wanted it there and Virginians wanted Va. It was so much effort to manage the expectations that I just decided to turn my garage into a smoking room.

However I turned the business plan over to a local cigar shop and they built a a GREAT lounge so it worked out well for some members and a partner.

No doubt, But one would think with such precious cargo such a well known retailer would not have to resort to internet hawking to sell their wares.

Maybe scam was the wrong word. Something just didn't seem right with a send the money and tell us what you want in the comments. But now that you have a legitimate link, I retract my previous statement and apologize.

I stand by my post that states these guys are legit. They have been in the internet sales business for a long while.

What Sarge said. I dont have the $ for a box but I would see no problem paying that $ for a few. IIRC casa fuente gets that kind of $ for some of their kool aid
The older I get ,the better I was
