    Default Houston Astros!!!

After a pretty bad start, my Houston Astros have won seven of their last eight games and 13 of the last 16 and just moved past the Cubbies for 2nd place in the NL Central

I've been a Houston Astros fan since junior high school (for me that was a LONG time ago, 1973 ) and these are good times!!!

We're gettin' right back in this race.

How 'bout it you Texas guys?

    GO ASTROS !!!

Morgan Ensberg hits game-winning double in series starter against the Dodgers. He's been steadily improving every season. Not bad for a California boy.

It happened a LOOOOOOONG time ago. In 1974, my best friend in 8th grade took a trip to Houston to visit relatives. When he was there, he went to the Astrodome to see a game. He came back talking all about it and since he was my best friend, he and I started following the Astros. He went to a different school the next year but ever since then, I've followed them and they are my favorite team.

I live in Red Sox country (Northeastern Connecticut, 90 miles from Boston) so last year was quite a time around here. My ex-wife's father was a huge Red Sox fan. He was born in 1924 and passed away in 1996 at the age of 71. He never saw them win a World Series.

I tell ya though, if the Astros had defeated the Cardinals, I dunno what I would have done if it was a Red Sox/Astros World Series.

Sorry Eric, I pretty much hate the Braves

AND the freakin Cardinals are REALLY starting to get on my nerves

I need to find some of those exploding inserts the CIA made for Castro before we do this pass.

But I have to admit you do have the best pitcher that has ever played the game.... to bad we let him go. ....

But we are world series champs.

    Oh yeah the Yankees Suck.

4 All Stars, 3 of which are pitchers! I don't hate the Yankees but the Mets can fuggin' rot! And as for Boston, I hope they're prepared for another 80+ year "curse".

"The Good Guys" picked up another win today against The Nationals! Not bad against a team that's tied (after today) with the Braves for the #1 spot in the NL East.

'stros - Nationals series is now 2-0 in favor of "The Good Guys" after a 14-1 blowout today with "The Rocket" on the mound! Give 'em hell guys!

They set a club record for number of wins in a month this year.

After two great months we've only gained about five games on the friggin' Cardinals.

Since May 24th when the Astros were 15-30, they have the BEST record in baseball.

I just splurged with my cable company to get the baseball package so I can see ALL the rest of the Astros games. I'm also thinking I'd like to make a trip down to Houston on Labor Day weekend when the Cardinals are in town.

Oh MAN would that be FUN!!!!! The Cardinals swept us in St. Louis but NO WAY will that happen at Minute Maid Park this year. The Astros have the best home record in the majors.

What's that Greg Maddux? Astros smell like a cow pie?

    I agree, they sure do!

Im a die hard stros fan and well this last game we lost was due to yet again people not being able to HIT consistently..........We have a solid pitching line up but thats useless if you cant put runs on the board!

hopefully tomorrow oswalt will get us another win, and the bats will be aswinging!
