If tapatalk had a bullshit filter program standard, he wouldn't be able to post anything.

Grammatically speaking, periods and commas generally go before the closing quote mark.

Just a little humor; didn't mean anything more. No offense meant; apologize if any taken.

You think he was quoting someone? Do you think maybe he was using the quotation marks in place of italicizing the text. Is this acceptable?

Knew it wasn't a quote. I've used quote marks in this way, too, but have always thought the rule about putting punctuation within quotes still applied (even if I've broken it), but perhaps I'm off.

I didn't see any examples, following your link, that would have clarified it for me.

It's probably because I see repeated spelling errors just a tad differently than a punctuation error.

Umm, wow. Probably not the best time to jump right in here with that little pearl of wisdom. No doubt I have made (and will continue to make) grammatical and spelling errors - but if I can help it, I avoid it (unlike Gary). I have been correcting Gary because his apathetic, disrespectful, arrogant attitude coupled with his horrific use of the English language is pretty annoying. And I'm trying to get my post-count up too. Uh oh, I started a sentence with "And". Uh oh, I did the quotes wrong again.
