Thread: First Padron

    Default First Padron

I had my first Padron on Tuesday, and all I have to say is "Wow!" That was a great smoke. It was a 1964 maduro torpedo that I picked up at the Wharf (Dayton Ohio tobacconist). I had just won a pretty large case and decided that I wasn't going back to the office at 4:30 but instead going to indulge myself.

I have to say that while this smoke is awesome, it will definitely be a special occasion cigar. After 90 min of smoking I was holding on to it with my fingertips starting to burn.

    Congratulations Sir,
On both your win & your choice of cigar !

Congrats. If I had to choose only one cigar manufacturer to smoke for the rest of time, it would be Padron - no question. I have a slight preference for the maduros over the naturals, however. Ever so slight.
