    Welcome from Western Canada.

I'm pretty new to cigars myself and an ex cigarette chain smoker so I know where you're coming from.

I noticed the favorites you listed were all maduro's and I've been finding as more time goes by and I try more cigars I have a definite leaning towards the maduro's myself.

If you haven't tried one yet, check out a Rocky Patel Nording maduro. The previous version of the Nording wasn't a maduro but the new ones are and I find I really enjoy them a lot. They've quickly become a favorite of mine. I prefer them in Toro size.

The Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 cigars are also a really tasty maduro stick (torpedo or robusto size).

Oh and you'll definitely want to try some Padron's when you can. I've tried several different Padron's (all with maduro wrappers) and totally enjoyed them all. In fact, I have one last Padron 5000 sitting in my humi and now I'm going to have to smoke that tonight because I'll be thinking about it all day long now......lol
