Yeah, shopped photos are allowed - you planning on putting Kirstie Alley's head on ashauler's body? Or vice-versa?

    3 spots left...

I'll join again. The last one was a good time, and the family idea sounded pretty interesting.

So, I'll give my vote to the Torano line.

I'm in too and I love your "Step 7"... I wonder who that was referring to

I'm not sure how this will go over but I put together a Perdomo line up. I know that they've had a poor reputation in the past but I've recently been enjoying some of their sticks. All prices are from CI.

    Edicion de Silvio (6.1" x 54 Torp) $23ish
    ESV '91 Special (4.5" x 52) $3ish
    Grand Cru (6" x 54 Torp) $5ish
    Reserve 10th Anniversary Maduro (5.0" x 50) $5ish
    Patriarch Robusto Maduro (5.0" x 50) $6ish
    Lot 23 Punta Gorda (5.0" x 60 Torp) $4ish
    2 Limited Edition Epicure (5.5" x 54) $5ish

If no one likes this line up I'd prefer the Torano or Fuente to the Camacho line.

Alright, well that filled up fast - with 15 participants this sucker is closed. I don't want to go beyond 15 per review series because it gets crazy daysi.

We are still awaiting a vote from Irish79 - but it looks like we are going to be reviewing the Arturo Fuente lineup (unless he votes Carlos Torano, which would create a tie).

I think it's safe to just go with the AF lineup unless there are any major objections. Here is the current set of cigars:

Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Sun Grown: ~$4
    Ashton Aged Maduro: ~$6
Arturo Fuente Hemmingway Work of Art: ~$8
    Ashton ESG 21yr: ~$14

So, the option "bags" would range in prices from about $37 (1 of each) to $69 (2 of each).

Does anyone have thoughts on this lineup? Any changes/additions we want to explore? Since signup ended early we have time to discuss this further, so feel free to offer your thoughts.

    I have two thoughts:

    1. I would like to propose we change the 21yr to the 22yr or 23yr (I already have a 21yr resting).

    2. I have been curious to try the VSG Eclipse Tubo (new in 2010) - they are about $12/stick. We could entertain adding it to the lineup, or maybe replacing one of the others.

I would like to try and keep a good range of prices though - I think that will give interesting insight to cigar prices / value.

Let's try and finalize our lineup ASAP so I can place the orders.

I like VSGs, so I have no qualms about adding it to the lineup.

Wait, wut??! There is an Art Contest?! And I have to enter? But I’m not an artist, wah wah.

(This actually sounds cool, I'm getting more and more into photography, so this might just be a good chance for me to piss about with post processing.)

Looks like a great one, have fun guys! I am out this round.. I have way too much going on with work, and honestly, its miserable to smoke outside when its 115*. My only smoking these days is when I go to the shop and sit in their lounge =)

I will be back in for the next Mega Review for sure though!

    What, no curly heads?

No problem adding the VSG for me.

I wouldn't mind adding the VSG. I think that it would be more of a 'mega' review with 5 sticks instead of 4 anyway.

So I really need to start thinking about this art contest thing huh? That should be interesting!

The Arturo Fuente line sounds good to me.

Hope you didn't have to go back to work after ordering the Catalina Margarita.

Fuente or Torano would both suit me.

Well since Arturo Fuente and Carlos Torano are pretty much tied up here, I would like to propose we switch over to CT and order from caminoviejo. Plus, and I should have mentioned this earlier... it was badwhale who originally suggested AF... and we all know what happened last time we went with the whale's suggestion!

    So, how about this:

    Tribute 2004 Churchill (7x50) - $10.00
    Virtuoso Maestro (7x50) - $5.20
    Exodus 1959 Gold Double Corona (7x50) - $4.66
    Cameroon 1916 Churchill (7x48) - $4.64
    Nicaragua Selection Churchill (7x48) - $3.32
    Dominicos Churchill (7x48) - $2.85

The Exodus 1959 and Cameroon 1916 are too close in price in my opinion, so we should select one or the other. Any other changes / additions / subtractions? Do we want to mix up the sizes a little bit?

I'd be interested in changing the Tribute 2004 to the Torpedo size ($11). Also, maybe we should try to get one in the $6-7 range (like the Reserva Selecta Torpedo Maduro)?

By Friday we want to place the order, so if you have thoughts, speak now.

Buzz, good idea in throwing some business towards our board host! Since so many people were amenable to the Fuente lineup maybe you could keep it in line for a later mega-review.

X2 on what the Montana guy said. I'm good with whatever CT lineup everyone else agrees on.

I'D definitely like to see the Reserva Selecta in the mix, and dropping either the Cameroon or the 1959 would be fine as well. On that same note, we could drop one of the lower end sticks as well if 5 is a more manageable number for everybody.
