Smoke: Cohiba ~ Robusto
Drink: Dogfish Head ~ World Wide Stout
Tunes: None
Wrapper: ISOM
Binder: ISOM
Filler: ISOM
Draw: Medium
Burn: Good
Misc: Run time about 60min
Pre-light: Colorado-Claro shade wrapper. Silky wrapper with light veins and some transit damage. Smells of light tobacco. Gave it a punch cut, and experienced light sweet tobacco flavors.
Light: Easy. Medium draw.
1st 3rd: Creamy, with just a tad of spice. A salt water taffy saltiness to it, and notes of hay and musty sweet tobacco.
Ash: Light gray with ash bubbles. Holds on for a considerable 1 5/8”
2nd 3rd: Smooth. Light to medium body. Medium flavor. Sweet, creamy with that salty tone. Some slightly nutty notes. Toasted nuts….there I said it. Some musty notes further on. Deceptive on it’s strength.
3rd 3rd: Again, smooth, nutty, sweet and creamy. Salty notes still evident. Medium body now, and light to medium flavor. Has some decent “umph” Nice.
Overall impression: This was my first Cohiba experience
