It smokes really well. I smoked a variety of tobacco in it. It is my latakia blend pipe. It burns burly well also. I recomend the pipe maker. He is great that makes a quality pipe for a fair price.

I'm so happy that I stopped by. Bob Davison lives not more than a half an hour from me. I have a Ashton XXX, crafted by Bill Taylor, himself, many years ago. It's a cross between an apple and prince with very thick walls and a quite small tobacco chamber. I'll talk to Bob about replicating the design of this pipe. The original is smooth, but I'd like this one rusticated.
