Air purifiers

I tried searching here and it seems like its been a while since this subject was touched, Air purifiers, who has em' and what would you guys recommend?

I am just putting the finishing touches on my newly sheetrocked living room and my dame is giving me guff regarding my habit of smoking indoors, i cant say I blame her, but alas, I enjoy smoking in my chair in front of the TV. So, I figure an air purifier might be a good compromise. I've been eyeballing the Csonka pro(around 300$)

I looked up the Friedrich unit, I'm a little turned off at the price though (500+$), and the size/look of the unit.

Anyone have any experience with the csonka or have any other thoughts?
