moving to singapore - help please!

We are moving to sing shortly and would need some detailed advise on the process and tax on cigars. I am moving a humidor with only 30 or so cigars of mixed quality, age, price brand, size ...

I could not find anything relating to cigars on the net so anything that goes beyond a link to Sing customs (only info on cigarettes) would be great

The last time I moved to Singapore the tax was high -- it was about $4.00 a cigar. But the next time I moved there, it was only $0.20 per cigar. But the third -- and god willing, last -- time I moved to Singapore, the tax was back up to $3.75 a cigar. Of course, that was in Singapore Dollars -- so it was a bit less in US dollars. I'll call my congressman and see if he can put me in touch with the ambassador to Singapore and see if I can get you an answer.
