    Default Is it necessary?

Hey guys im curious how long my cigars will last (for lack of a better word) without a humidor? Will they get completely dried out and stale in a short period of time. Basically i will only have 5-10 on hand which will only be sitting there for 2 weeks tops before I finish them and buy some more sticks.

Of course this is all temporary until I get a humidor which i won't be getting for a month or so due to bills. But still want to enjoy a cigar here and there without the worry of it cracking when I pick it up.

Put 'em in a zip lock bag.

Yeah that's what I have been doing. Just wanted to make sure they would remain decent.

Check with your local B&M they may have small humidifier packs. If they do, get them to fill one for you and put it in the ziplock bag with the cigars.

I think two weeks should be okay as long as you follow the ziploc bag rule, but be careful! I had a friend lose a few Cubans in about a month in a similar situation. Be careful around heaters as well.

What's in a name? A (cigar) by any other name would smell just as sweet!
Always looking for a funny status for Facebook.
