Default Victor Sinclair Bohemian ~ Torpedo

    Kenyth's Review

Smoke: Victor Sinclair Bohemian ~ Torpedo
    Drink: Troegs Javahead; Yuengling Porter
    Tunes: Assorted

    Wrapper: BroadLeaf USABinder
    Binder: Cuban Seed Dom Rep
Filler: Piloto Cubano, Criollo 98, Olor Dom Rep and Nicaragua Ligero
    Draw: Good
    Burn: Good
    Misc: 60min duration

Pre-light: Maduro – Oscuro wrapper. Lumpy and bumpy, but appears to have good construction. A pretzel like finish on the wrapper. Dark, pungent tobacco scent. Sweet and spicy tobacco cut prelight flavor.

Light: Easy. Forgot to note that it had a partially uncut foot. Light to medium draw.

1st 3rd: Oily and a tad bitter, but not overpowering. A little harsh. Woodsy and now some acrid aftertaste. Nothing too overpowering yet… Still in the first third, and I’m sensing a foreboding. An acrid remnant in the mouth at this stage.

Ash: White with tiny ash bubbles. Strong, and holds on for about 1 ¾”

2nd 3rd: Can’t call this one smooth. Toothy with oil and bitter acrid flavor on the aftertaste. Still not too terrible, but I’ve had this for about 6months and it seems I should have aged it for about 3 years. Woodsy, oily and bitter / acrid. Medium body.

3rd 3rd: Redeeming itself a little bit. A little less acrid now, which is letting the oily, woodsy prevail. Still bitter.

Overall impression: Not the most enjoyable, but hey! I just like to smoke!

Thanks to Smoked! for this experience.

Thanks for suffering... I mean 'reviewing' that one. They do seem a little rough on the construction. It is not an exceptional blend or brand.
