Default Hello, from the New new guy

I found this site while looking for some good Cigar Suppliers. I am more of a Monticristo fan. I like the No2 torpedo's or the Media Noche's. Very good smoke. I have tried a wide range in my short Cigar smoking time. I have to say I have found a good cheep everyday Cigar in something called "Pirate Gold". Very good if you leave them in the Humidor with the Monti's. I have also been known to smoke some Pipe as well. Just wanted to drop in and say HI.

    Hi from bitterville.

A Flor de Baloney blows away a Pirate's Gold all day, IMO. BTW, Montecristo.

welcome to the forum form South Carolina.
I have smoked a few of the pirates gold's as yard/work cigars and they are not bad but you can get much better for around the same price.

First, welcome Sir... or Madame. I too am a new guy, except that I've been here a while.

IMHO, Pirates Gold is currently the better choice since it offers far better label art and they're on sale at a popular online retailer in a multitude of vitolas. The other popular retailer that offers Flor de Baloney stubbornly refuses to lower the price on these underrated gems. (No apologies for the hijack.)

    Again, welcome.

Thanks all, I will give them a try! At that price what can go wrong right? I use them for the Everyday Smoke. If I want a treat I get me a Monte or Cohiba.
