La Flor Dominicana ~ Mysterio
Desert Rat’s Review
Smoke: La Flor Dominicana ~ Mysterio
Drink: Yuengling Porter
Tunes: SRV Assorted
Wrapper: Nicaraguan
Binder: Sumatra
Filler: Dominican
Draw: Perfect
Burn: Excellent
Misc: Goes for about 60+ minutes
Pre-light: Pig tail screw cap of a Colorado shade. Foot has the same Colorado shade exposed for about ˝”. Rest is cloaked in a Colorado maduro shade wrapper. A little lumpy / bumpy, and medium veins, but obviously is top notch construction. Not much prelight scent. There’s a leathery / spicy cut prelight flavor.

Light: Easy. Medium draw.
1st 3rd: Definitely changes from a light spicy to a more full body smoke when you hit the maduro shade wrapper portion. Nice balance of spice, floral accents, oil and leather. I’ll stop thinking and get to enjoying now…

Ash: Medium gray. Scaly and holds on for an impressive 2”

2nd 3rd: Leather, oil, floral, sweet tobacco, woodsy, and spice. All balanced very nicely. Back to smokin’…

3rd 3rd: Shit!, almost down to the nub now, and I forgot to log the 3rd 3rd. Just been enjoying it thoroughly. Sweet with some spice. Woodsy, and oily, and leathery. Great smoke.

Overall impression: I enjoyed it...very good cigar. A little on the pricey side, but I would consider it for a special occasion smoke.
Thanks bigwhiteash. Been holdin’ out to review this one… ;)
