Saviour - don't get too worked up about "tasting" the Cuban tobacco in those cigars. Even the most discerning palate would have difficulting distinquishing that the Cuban tobacco's been rolled into them.

There's serveral reviews of Camacho Liberty on this forum. I remember enjoying the one I had, although I remember learning later that it was purported to have pre-embargo tobacco in it.

I think it's probably true they roll a tiny bit into each cigar. Eventually it will be gone. Do I cream myself at the thought of smoking pre-embargo tobacco? No. Do I think it's a gimmick? Yes.

I will concede that the pre-embargo part its a gimmick, but that does not take away from the quality of the other tobacco in it.

Now that you know the facts about the pre-embargo tobacco - you're saying it's a fine cigar in it's own right??? Given you have experience with the only 30 or so cigars you've smoked, I'd say your depth of experience is pretty thin. Seriously, sparky - do you honestly believe your opinion is in any way credible?

I think Camacho Liberty's suck. I won a whole box of the '08 barber poles at the Quad State Herf two years ago and I give them away to people that like them.
