Cam Newton was the runaway winner of the Heisman this year, even with the pay-for-play scandal surrounding his father. How to you feel about him winning given that Bush has already had to give back his trophy due to eligibility problems??

My father-in-law and wife are huge Auburn fans so by extension I've become an Aubrun fan. Cam Newton is one of the most electric college football players I've watch in quite a while. I don't think we've heard the whole story and I'm sure more will come out but I hope the wrongdoins are isolated to his greedy father and that Cam stays clean.

I think, over the past 30 years, a majority of the Heisman winners are probably guilty of infractions that would have cost them their eligibility, and subsequently the trophy. I think it's just a product of our times that it's just a lot harder to get away with it.

Agreed. Does it really matter? With the exception of possibly being a higher draft pick, meaning more $ in the long-run for that player, how many Heisman winners have been duds in the pros?
I'm actually happy he won the Heisman. If "the Heisman curse" holds up, this BCS championship is going to be quack-tacular!
