Thread: So the pipes are in.

Default So the pipes are in.

So I got my first two pipes. Just the Country Gentleman corn pipe. Looking forward to having a go. Just have a question on the storage of pipe tobacco? Just seal the package and you can leave them out? Or some type of coolidor?

I leave mine in a zip lock, inside of a mason jar, or something similar.

Some stuff, I understand you have to leave out and dry a bit prior to smoking.

So I had my first bowl this morning of McClelland 2015. I need a lot more practice. My first mistake was I didn't pack it enough. The draw was very loose and had to relight a few times and tended to puff more. Which lead to tongue bite at times. Plan again to try it this afternoon. I'll pack it better. I did enjoy what I got.

So I packed the second bowl better and it did work better. Still had a good amount of doodle? left at the bottom. How does one know when the bowl is finished without dumping the ash and picking around?
