Nice setup indeed. It looks like Gramps gave you his entire pipe estate.

    I've got a keeper myself!

I'm brand new to cigar smoking...so brand new that she wasn't aware of my new interest. She was working late last night so I was relaxing, smoking a cigar I was given...she called to see how everything was and asked what I was doing...

    Me:

    "just hanging out....smoking a cigar"

(holding breath since I don't know what her reaction would be)

    She said:

"what!? No way! When did this happen?"

    Me:

    "ohhh the other day!"

    Wife:

"Cool! I was in the cigar club in college!"

    huh?

I never knew that...so it goes to show- you learn something everyday!

I think so! She said "we should go to the Tobacco Haus (our local B&M/bar) and get a few cigars!"

Like I said in my intro thread- She's a bitchin' lady!

Just thought I'd bump this'n instead of making a new thread unnecessarily...

It's always a surprise whenever my wife gives me a gift...I never know what to expect and this Valentine's day was no different.

Lo and behold! In my gift bag was an A. Fuente rosado gran reserva, an Adrian's Havana robusto, and a Perdomo 10th Ann. robusto...all inside the orange cigar caddy I've been eyeing!

She had the help of the saleswoman at the B&M she went to, so hopefully these are smokes I'll enjoy... I can't wait to try these out...

Just though I'd share...anyone else get anything cool for V day?

Which 10th Anni--champagne, criollo, or maduro? I've had the two latter and they're great.

Champagne...I've got a four day weekend, so it's possible I'll be out of cigars at the end! I've only got 4 sticks right now...

    Pathetic, eh?

I can't get my girlfriend to stop nagging me about my weekly cigar consumption. It's just too hard to limit cigar smoking to "celebratory occasions."
