Imperfect Humidors / New Setup

Hello,

I am looking to purchase a new humidor / setup so that I can get started in this game and house my newbie package.

I am looking into the 250-300 count treasure style humidor at cheaphumidors.com and its roughly 150-160, however I noticed there is an imperfect section where it retails at about 120. Has anyone dealt with this section? Would you recommend it or should I just shell out the extra 30 for a fine piece of equipment.

Also, I was considering 65% beads at heartfelt and a cheap digi hygrometer.

This would be everything I need (minus the cigars lighter and cutter) correct?

I've never dealt with that vendor, so I can't comment on them. If you're concerned with the appearance, i.e. want a show-piece for the office/desk or whatever, shell out the extra bucks....if not, go cheaper. If you want to go really cheap, set up a cooler.

65% beads are what I use. I don't use a hygrometer in the smoking humis anymore, just keep watch on my beads.

As you know, I bought my humi from them. I didn't buy an imperfect one however. They claim on their site the imperfections are minor scratches and the humis function correctly. If you don't mind a scratch or nick save the cash for cigars, if you do mind get an unflawed one.

I would get a digital hydro as a newbie. I don't use one anymore either, but it will help you in the beginning. And beads are the way to go, I use 70% beads in my cooler and 65 in my humi.
