    Default Introduction, newbie

    Hello,
My name is Adam and I've been lurking the site for a while, figured it was time to introduce myself.
I'm 24, and am getting married in a few months.
I've enjoyed only a few cigars in my time, mostly a. Fuente chataues that were recommended to me at my local b&m. But ive never had the opportunity, or the cash to be honest, to really indulge in this sweet, sweet adult candy. Until now.
At the reception I talked my fiance into having a cigar bar for our guests to enjoy, and myself... Lol.
Found a vector hm-404 for $40 on craigslist that's in good working order, and stocked it with flor de oliva gold robustos and some chataues. I also took this opportunity to build my own humidor. Which I will post when I get home, for my flavored cigars, just some cao honey cigarillos.
    Anywho, thanks!

Welcome from NW PA. and congratulations on the wedding. Get in all the smoking you can before the wedding.

Welcome from W. Tennessee! Congrats on the wedding...you know some things change and/or come to an end when the little lady gets the ring on their finger. Hope it isn't quitting cigars ...well and for your sake, other things too

Welcome, congrats, and nice going with the cigar bar. As b.read said, make sure you get some food in you, especially if you'll be smoking sticks all day. Making sure you eat something is a good job for the best man and maid of honor.

    welcome from Oregon.

Seriously - make sure your best man/best woman/whatever take care of the food for you, and make you an extra plate for you to take wherever you're going. Weddings are fun, but once the adrenaline wears off and you're back at the hotel, you're going to be HUNGRY. For more than 2 reasons.

I speak from experience. People tell me the food at my wedding was great. Don't worry about losing out on cigar time, either - that's a myth.

    VERY good point, mrtr33 ^^^

Our wedding planner/go-fer lady (not sure what to call her) was a LIFE SAVER in that the wrapped up two HUGE plates and also had a nice big bottle of wine for us to take back to the suite...it's a good idea to delegate this to someone who's sober enough to remember this!
