Thread: Whole Cigar?

    Question Whole Cigar?

Do most of you, when you smoke your cigar finish it from start to end in one sitting? Or, do you take a some puffs, then get back to it throughout the day?

I do mine start to finish. When I was visiting family last 2 weeks, My uncle would lite one up and smoke on it for about 10-15 minutes or more then get back to it anytime that day/night.

I tried that.. I didn't care for it that way. Doesn't seem, to me, get the full affect. not as enjoyable or relaxing.

Just seeing how others tend to smoke them.

You'll get a whole range of opinions on this as we all have different ways of smoking, but for me I smoke it as long as it stays good. If a smoke sucks right from the get go, I toss it. I don't like to go back to a cigar that has gone out and sat for a long time because for me they tend to taste stale. That's just my take on your question.

    Yes!

I must say - this is a bit of a strange question. It's kinda like saying "when you eat dinner, do you eat the whole meal or do you save any leftovers".

Re-lighting a cigar, after maybe 30mins of it being out, blows

True...I have not had any luck with returning to one after it's been out, even for a short amount of time.

I try to plan my smokes during a time of the day when I can't be pulled away- but it doesn't always work out...

If I don't have the time to finish a full cigar, I don't start one - with one exception: if it's a yard-gar, and I'm just smoking it to smoke, then I don't care how many times I relight it, because it's not about taste then, anyways. I never relight a previous day's cigar, though.

Agree. I make sure I have the time to start.. Especially since I tried it the other way now.

Like I said, I like to relax and enjoy the smoke. Gives me time to just chill and enjoy ME time.

I seem to always smoke a cigar from start to finish. Don't like the taste of cigars that are sparked up again after they have sat an hour or two.

Definitely start to finish. I haven't been in a situation where I would have to stop and come back later. That being said I also don't have the responsibility of a spouse and family at this time. Im luckily able to set aside time to smoke where I know I won't be bothered.

Cigars come in different sizes for a reason.
