Arturo Fuente Hemingway Rosado ~ Signature
Smoke: AF Hemingway Rosado ~ Signature
Drink: Troegs Nugget Nectar
Tunes: Jeff Beck ~ Blow by Blow; Wired
Wrapper: Dominican (I think) Rosado
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican
Draw: Medium draw
Burn: somewhat problematic
Misc: about an hour
Pre-light: Colorado claro shade wrapper. I don’t know when the wrapper or filler were harvested, but this particular cigar seems to have some sparkly plume on it. Delicate looking Rosado wrapper with light veins and good construction. Has a dull musty smell, maybe a little cedar scent. Twangy woodsy leather tobacco flavor on cut prelight taste.

Light: Easy, especially with the figurado end. Medium draw.
1st 3rd: Nice light flavors. Good mix of buttery flavors. Musty sweet tobacoo. Oily bitter twinge. Finicky wrapper is very fragile. Seeing a slight heat split about ¼” away. I hope it doesn’t destroy the smoke…

Ash: Light gray / dark gray mottled. Holds on for 2”

2nd 3rd: Some light hay notes now. I want to like this cigar, but it’s not really there yet. Decent refined flavors maybe to subtle for me. Let’s keep going.

3rd 3rd: I can’t believe I fell prey to this. <alert>, clip, don’t punch this like I did. I got a mouthful of tar now. Clipped the culprit and am doing better with a smoother draw and more flavor besides oil. Sweet light tobacco. Hay notes and a buttery profile again. Still, not completely satisfying for me, but YMMV. Has a tannic “green” kinda taste. Odd with the display of plume.

Overall impression: Wouldn’t turn one down, but I’m not going to search out anymore of these somewhat “rare” smokes.
