Smoke: La Flor Dominicana Ligero ~ Torpedo
Drink: Southern Tier IPA
Tunes: Dropkick Murphey’s ~ Blackout
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican
Draw: Medium
Burn: Good
Misc: About an hour
Pre-light: Colorado shade wrapper. Has a reddish hue to it. Very nice construction. Lightly veined. Smells good from 8” away. Nice sweet tobacco scent. Maybe a little hint of black tea. Woodsy nutty taste on cut prelight taste.
Light: Easy. Meduium draw, but not too firm.
1st 3rd: Woodsy. Leathery. Sweet tobacco, nutty and a slight pepper flavor. Also has a nice tea accent on it. Definitely has some spice kick to it. Good sofar.
Ash: Layered and flakey. Dark gray / light gray layers.
2nd 3rd: Great. Woodsy, some oil, spice and leather. Nutty pepper. Every “standard” flavor in a perfect balance. Pretty damn nice.
3rd 3rd: I’m getting a nice sweet tea flavor now. All others are there as described in the other 3rds. Woodsy, nutty, nice.
Overall impression: LFD hits the spot again.
Another from the OYA Sampler at Holt's (Thanks!)
