    Default New Guy From SoCal

Hello from the High Desert in California, Apple Valley to be exact. Names Jeff and I just turned the young age of 42. Have been smoking cigars off and on for a while now. Am really looking forward to broadening my selection of favorites. I've been doing a lot of reading and seems everyone here is very knowledgeable. Looks like it's going to be a fun ride.

I'm excited to be able to learn more. I currently own two humidors one of which is a 50 count and a 250 count. I used to be a pipe smoker and have gotten away from that a while ago. So the smaller humidor still houses some of my pipe tobacco. I will hopefully convert that over for cigars but I'm worried about the aroma effecting the cigars. So it might end up in the trash but I hope not.

Well I guess that's it in a nut shell. I'm really looking forward to fostering new friendships and hopefully being able to contribute to this site someday.

Well I got hooked into the Thompson 250 club, I know, I know..... Newbie. So I have them sending me the cheap Thompson Corojo Cubano's. They are not too bad for a little more than a buck a stick. But some of my favorites so far are the Alec Bradley Tempus, Macanudo Gold Labels, Olivia (got in a sampler) and that is about it so far. I'm really looking forward to trying MANY more.

Two words...Newb Sampler. The dudes on this board know their smokes and thus you benefit from their wisdom by getting to try some outstanding cigars.

Funny you should say that. I've been messaging back and fourth with Mangyrat for the last couple days.
