Smoke: La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero ~ Lancero
Drink: Victory Storm King
Tunes: King’s X ~ assorted tracks

Wrapper: Ecuador
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican

Draw: Medium to firm draw
Burn: Good
Misc: 60min

Pre-light: Good construction with pigtail cap. Colorado shade wrapper, but is a light / dark tobacco splotchy. Lightly veined. Has a leather / tobacco scent. Cut prelight taste is a slightly spicy leathery tobacco flavor.

Light: Easy. Medium to firm draw.

1st 3rd: Slightly peppery. Leathery and toothy. I’m not getting a whole lot yet besides leathery and pepper. Leaves a dense coating on the palate.

Ash: Light to medium gray. Little black ash specks. I knocked it off accidently at about ½”

2nd 3rd: Spicy has died a bit. It’s more subdued but still there, like a red hot candy. Some more leathery / tobacco notes and tea, and a woodsy oily flavor. More interesting now.

3rd 3rd: More like the 2nd 3rd. Red hot spice, leather, woodsy oil, leathery tobacco. Nice.

Overall impression: Good, solid lancero. I’m not sure this vitola is made now, according to LFD’s website, but I’d buy some more if I could find them.
