Thread: Cigars for your friends?

    Default Cigars for your friends?

Do you guys have some special cigars you keep around for your pals?
Or do you share what can be found in your humi?

I typically keep some mellow, decent smokes for friends that aren't cigar smokers and I'll gladly give my friends that know cigars, a good smoke.

Post an intro and tell us a little bit about yourself.

I do have a box of coffee-infused cigars for people who don't smoke much. For shorter smokes, I have tins of my go-to cigar, the Partagas Black Label Pronto.

I'll smoke the cigars that I've only bought one of, but I try to not smoke all of the cigars I've bought multiples of so others can try them.
    Latest smokes:
    Cigar: 5/19: Nub Connecticut 464T
    Pipe: 3/16: G.L. Pease~Charing Cross

With rare exception, the cigars in my humi are meant for smoking for anyone wishing to partake. I normally don't keep cigars around that I wouldn't smoke myself. What better way to introduce someone new into the hobby than to share with them a cigar I enjoy?

My good friends are welcome to anything I have in my humi. Unfortunatley, for the most part they are dog rocket samplers which I split with my brother-in-law when I got in to cigar smoking recently.

That being said, for a guy who does not have an established palate (myself), I have been pleasantly surprised with a few of the "rockets". I have been to a few local B&M's and picked up some more quality smokes, but are letting them season for a while.

My humi is open to whatever you think you might want. But you take it you smoke it. If it makes you then that's your fault you have been forewarned......

I feel the same way...Unfortunately (since it's fun to smoke with a friend), none of my friends nor family care for cigars so what's in there is all for me. Shame really...I have a friend who smokes black and milds regularly, who says he can't understand how I smoke "those things"

More for me I suppose...I haven't given up hope on him yet, but it's not looking good.

I don't have many friends who are into smoking cigars as a hobby, but my humi is open to any of my friends or family who want to give it a whirl. I'll recommend to them something that I think they may like, but they are free to pick at their own leisure...

However that being said, there is a drawer in my humi of sticks that 'I really, really want to try'...
    ;D
