The Wenger sak with cigar cutter is in my opinion the best cigar cutter ever. So, of course, they don't make them anymore. I've had mine for years and cut at least a few thousand cigars with it. It still as sharp as the day I bought it, or so it seems. If you don't already own a quality cutter, get this one, for $30, it's a steal. Besides, you can open your expensive micro-brews with it and if you fugg up and buy a bottle of wine with a cork, you can open it too.

I'd prefer to keep it in the US...I have had bad luck shipping to Canada.
If this makes it any easier I've got something picked out you can trade for it...I'll also throw in a two bladed Montecristo Cutter in for your trouble.

Keep in mind, this is not a guillotine cutter. It's a scissors and requires learning the circumcision technique of cutting a cigar. Place the cap in the cutter. squeeze to barely cut the cap and turn the cigar 180 degrees. Lift off the cap and smoke away. There's a learning curve, but you'll figure it out.

It's one of the best cutters I ever used...I got a couple in a group buy at another forum In 04 or 05. I'm keeping one that I never took out of the box for my Swiss Army Knife collection.

MEC doesn't stock that particular Wenger with the cigar cutter but does have several others.
My searches for it for sale in Canada have yielded nothing *sigh*
But, I did email a couple US web sites to see if they'd ship to Canada (amazon.com has them but doesn't ship to Canada and it isn't available on amazon.ca). If I don't hear any positive responses by Friday, I'm just going to order it and have it shipped to my sister-in-law's house in North Idaho as I'll be there June 13th and can pick it up then.
I really need a decent pocket knife and if I get this particular one, I'll always have a cutter with me so I'm definitely going to get one.
Thanks for the tip on using it Devil Doc that'll come in handy once I get one and go to use it. I'd much rather not make a mess of any cigars!

I'm working on a deal with someone...It may not work out. I'd be glad to ship to you sister-in-laws house if the deal I'm working on falls through.![]()
The knife was waiting for me when I arrived on the 6th and it works great too!
LOL
Thanks a bunch, I appreciate this a lot. Now I have a pocket knife again and I'll always have a cutter handy.
