Thread: Hola Cigar Folk

    Default Hola Cigar Folk

My name is Marc, I have been smoking cigars for a few years, I like long walks on the beach and dinner by candle light.

    Wait, wrong forum.

I admit, I am not an everyday smoker. I smoke about 1 (full sized) cigar a week as of now or a few minis if I am in the vineyards, so I am by no means an expert.

A little about me. I live in Arlington, TX and work in Dallas. I am a winemaker and grape grower for Inwood Estates Winery. Before I made wine I was an award winning coffee roaster. I have been brewing my own beers, ciders, hard lemonades and wines for years. My wife and I have been married for almost 8 years now. We have three dogs and no kids.

I have a 50 count humidor that currently holds a bale of (60) Banditos that I use for vineyard work and half of a Gurkha sampler including,

    2 - Gurkha’s Castle Hall Presidente (7" x 52)
    2 - Gurkha’s Cuban Legacy Presidente (7" x 52)
    2 - Gurkha’s Park Avenue Maduro Presidente (7" x 52)
    2 - Gurkha’s Park Avenue Series 44 Presidente (7" x 52)
    2 - Gurkha’s Sherpa Presidente (7" x 52)

Welcome from western Canada! The gurkhas I have had to date haven't impressed me much, but I haven't tried the ones you listed. Enjoy your stay.

    Welcome from Mt.

Feel free to bring your strong opinions and heavy posts. Also, be prepared to back up said strong opinions. Also, don't be an asshole about them and you'll be fine. Also, others around here may have strong opinions that differ from yours; don't assume yours are correct and theirs are wrong or you will be tarred, feathered, and dropped at the curb.

    Also, enjoy your stay.

Got it. You will find me using words like "I disagree" or "in my opinion" or "I feel"

I try hard NOT to be an asshole and respect all opinions as long as nobody tells me that my opinion is wrong.

    Welcome from AZ.

Just don't make any strong accusations, cause those will be reported to the corresponding authorities.

Ah, the Northwest. I spent the first 28 years of my life in Puyallup, WA. I love the summers up there.

I've found that titanium works exponentially better - getting it, though, can be problematic!
