    Default Hello fellow cigar smokers!

I'm located in Maryland. I consider myself a novice, but this year on vacation my brother in law and I enjoyed an Opus X, a My Father, a Torano Novena 90 and the Gurkha Beauty.....needless to say, I'm HOOKED :). I look forward to discussing and learning a lot from all of you....thanks!

Welcome from western Oregon. I'm pretty new myself. I haven't tried one, but I hear the OpusX is one of the best out there, so hope it didn't ruin you for others! Really though, try a wide variety and you'll develop your own taste.

Thanks everyone! I just returned from the Cigar International Superstore in Bethlehem PA (about a 4.5 hour trek, but worth it). I returned with: 2 my uzi's (the sign said that they were 1 of only 3 retailers to get them pre-released); 2 Torano reserve selects; 2 ACID 1400CC; and 2 Opus X lost city's. It's official...... The wife's pissed! :-) who's close by with a spare couch and a roomy humidor!

Two singles of each or two boxes? If she's pissed because you bought a total of 8 cigars, just wait until 3 months down the road when she goes to the garage to grab a cooler and upon opening it finds it full of cigars.

Well, they were only singles.... But I failed to mention the box of Gurkha Beauties I picked up as well. THAT could have been what tipped the scales for me!
