    Default Picked up some pipes

Well I never buy used pipes....but I was at a flea-market on Saturday & could not pass up on this deal: 3 old (used) smokers & a 6 rack for.......3$ bucks as you can see in the pics the first one was smoked hard & I think it's done but the other two are OK & good to go

Umm...the one on the left seems to have a white spot on the stem. It is the right size, color, and location for what would appear to be a Dunhill. What, if any, nomenclature can you see on the shank of the pipe? If it is a Dunhill, and you have it professionally restored, it could very well be worth several hundred dollars.

Otherwise, a very nice selection. Get em cleaned up and post some pics, give us the whole before and after effect.

Aw, hell. Now I'm wondering what brands the other pipes are.

First: METEOR Made In Italy, Second: AMPHORA X-tra 814 Genuine Briar, Third: IMPERIAL Yello-Bole Made In France 760. Hope this helps.

3 bucks? Damn. I'd've paid at least that much just for the stand.

They should clean up pretty nice. If you have access to buffer the oxidation should be easily removed from the stems. This place has the other stuff you need...http://www.walkerbriarworks.com/html...store_kit.html I've got some good deal on estate pipes.
