    Default hey

What's up, guys? Haven't been on in a while. Just wanted to stop in and say Hi.

    Hi.

A lot has changed since I've been on.
    1) I'm now married to Sarah.

    2)

Meet Jonah Elliot Cook. 6 months old today. He is awesome ... just like me.

So what's new around here? Any one got cliff notes dating back a year?

trunk's doing well. Still fully stocked ... sadly. Can't remember last time I bought a cigar. Been doing cigar nights with some of my friends more often but living in a college town people come and go frequently. Just had a really good friend move off this weekend. Also, the humidity makes it extremely hard to get outside. I just started brewing and I'm drenched in sweat. So I've backed way off from my 1 or 2 a day. Now it's more of a 1 or 2 a month.

Yeah good luck with that. LOL

Brewing still going good? We are going to finish the basement in about a month and then I get to build a bar. I'm doing a five tap tower, 3 co2 and 2 nitrogen. I;m currently out of suds but am ordering stuff to make an esb, pumpkin ale and a honey wheat.

My old lady is expecting our fourth in mid-sept. So I'm planning on beer for October.

    Well then congrats to you!

Brewing's been slow thanks to the aforementioned humidity. Just finished the mash on a dry stout. I usually do a no-sparge brew on days like this, saves a ton of time. Kegged an IPA two days ago. I got a kegerator that holds 6 kegs running off one 20# CO2 tank and I'm able to ferment 15 gallons at a time. Still working at the homebrew shop on the weekends. Recipe I'm brewing right now cost me $15.

Planning on doing my first lager soon. Thinking about either doing a Bohemian Pilsner or a Baltic Porter .... or both. I, too, thought of doing a pumpkin ale with my porter recipe as the base beer.

I'm gonna say 21 ... maybe earlier, depending on what he wants. Second tattoo is gonna be my face, though ... on his hand.

I'd like to say welcome back, even though I showed up after your break from the board...and congrats also! Life's good, eh?

I know what you mean about brewing...it's ridiculous outside. Loooking forward to it cooling down in fall for my next batch.

Not as much any more. It takes more time and I haven't been getting a very good shave, you can still feel stubble.

You're back! Ya, I remember that trade. You sent me some cigars covered in plume. Good to see you again. Still in the vinyl business?
