A night at the ER

I messed up again...I was at work tonight working a call. I was in the process of making an arrest when I stepped in a hole and fell face first to the ground. Looks like I have a possible torn rotator cuff. Tests scheduled for next week. My shoulder hurts like hell and my pride is suffering.

I tore my cuff about three years ago. Talk about pain. No position is comfortable.
You have to sleep flat on your back. It sucks.

Thanks...The doc said today it is prolly a bad sprain. If it is not better Monday I get to have a MRI.

One of my guys claims he got it on video...

Glad to see the Dr thinks it may not be something terribly severe. That said maybe you're just getting to old for that line of work Ken.

I am better...A round of steroids is in progress seems to be helping. I hope to be back to work by the middle of the week.

I never realized how bad a shoulder injury was. Every move you make involves the use of it. Prolly the worse pain since my wisdom teeth acted up.
