What's strange about this thread is that this site has been growing by leaps and bounds in the past three months. July isn't even half over yet and 65 people have signed up already this month. This is on track to be a record membership month here at CigarSmokers.

Unfortunately, the whiners and the babies have to find something to complain about

Since Scotty has volunteered to leave this place will only get better. Scotty saw how trolls disrupted the Island. My suggestion to Hex would be to check Scotty's IP address against trolls like the loser who started this thread.

If anyone else has been watching the thread/post counts we are averaging well over a hundred new posts a day. It's very hard for even me to keep up (which is great). We are now a year old, and I consider this place to be doing great. We have knowledgeable regulars who contribute and help keep things in order.

People are quick to judge members in this forum who create opportunities to trade and get to know each other. This community has grown and will continue to do so. What we need is good, honest BOTL’s. Please look beyond a couple of threads or posts when getting to know someone. What have you done for the community? What have others done?

I do find it kind of disturbing that people complain about stuff that’s going on in "Politics".

I know a few threads have wandered across the thin line that separates normal conversation from what I consider material that should be here, and I haven’t caught it all, but most of the time it gets moved here.
