Gene Arganese is not in the best of health these days, so I guess that he's liquidating assets.

Besides the, ah, memorable advertisements a few years ago, Arganese were not that impressive to me when they sold at $6+/stick. They seemed to me like a lower-mid/mid- pack smoke in the $4/$5 price point. I'm smoking an "Arganese Nicaraguan Churchill" at the moment - a pretty decent medium cigar that is going well with my coffee this morning.

CI is blowing Arganese out now at $1.25-$1.50/cigar. That is a very good bargain, IMHO.
