I am new to the forum and cigar smoking. I have found myself thoroughly enjoying the hobby both as an excuse to relax while smoking and try the various brands. On two seperate occasions I have had a Rocky Patel 15 yr anniversary and different brand that developed a bulge in the center while smoking and split the wrapper. I am not sure if this was a blemish or possibly a humidification issue that I caused. I do have a small 20 count humidor that I have a refillable humidifer disk that is attached to the lid via the supplied magnetic base. I do not have a hygrometer though to verify the level. When I first setup the humidifier I wiped down the interior cedar with a damp cloth moistened with distilled water and allowed a small bowl with the same to sit inside for a 24hr period. I then put in the charged humidifier and my cigars after removing the bowl of water (which did not show any evaporation). I have discovered (as all seasoned cigar smokers have stated) that I now need to purchase a larger humidor. Thank you for your time and help.
Matt
