Smoke: Romeo Y Julieta ~ Coronas (01)
Drink: Hop Devil
Tunes: KRS-ONE
Wrapper: ISOM
Binder: ISOM
Filler: ISOM
Draw: Medium
Burn: good
Misc: didn’t record the time
Pre-light: Colorado claro shade wrapper. A little lumpy / bumpy. Barnyard scent. Nice triple cap construction. Not much on the prelight taste.
Light: Easy. Medium draw.
1st 3rd: Slight oil twinge. Sweet tobacco and a saltwater taffy salty note. Toasted nut, like cashew taste. Oily and salty twinge.
(guess I missed the 1st 3rd….I blame hop devil)
Ash: Dark gray with light gray layers. Those ash bubbles…and holds on for about 1”
2nd 3rd: Salty note. Bitter twinge, with toasty nut sweetness. Straight up tobacco flavor. Mild to medium body. Mild flavor. Smooth, and leaves an oily aftertaste.
3rd 3rd: Mostly the same. Maybe a minty / oily twinge now.
Overall impression: Too light for me, and may be the flavor profile has mellowed too much over time.
Thanks to you know who for this event. Pretty cool to smoke a cigar that’s this old. Easily the oldest one I’ve ever had.
