  1. Default Hello There!

Hello there, my names Daniel from the uk!
    Nice to meet everybody,

I'm a newbie smoker to be honest, I bought a couple on holiday and have yet
to smoke them but am heavily fascinated at the spectacle and vast array of
    leaf types etc.

I need some advice on what to smoke? and perhaps if anybody has 1 or 2
I could possibly try before I purchase more? :)

    Kind Regards

    D

    Hi from Western Canada!

If you're just starting out I would recommend you start with less intense cigars. I would suggest smoking mild to medium cigars for a while until you build up a taste and have tried some different brands.

Greetings...Dominican Monte Cristos are a nice medium bodied cigar...You can catch them on sale if you look around. Stay away from Macanudo. No flavor at all

Well I'm a student so I have little cash frankly, so I'm looking to buy a few singles.

Welcome to the board. Try to find a reputable local tobacconist......singles will be available as well as conversation and advice.

Welcome from Eastern Oregon. I would suggest asking your local Tobacconist and see if he has something that would be good in a beginner line. I would go for medium strength cigars. Most tobacconists have a good knack for selecting for new smokers. Enjoy the experiences you have. Roger.

For a student on a budget wanting a good smoke with access to Cuban cigars - absolutely nothing beats the Quinteros line. I am particularly fond of the Brevas vitola.

    Welcome!
