    shipping will cost me $10.

I wish I paid $20 for them. That would have been a treat.

How much did you get them for? Just wondering. I thought they were just leftover after you smoked the cigars.

Speaking of leftovers - they don't give points for boxes - I thought they did - but bandwagonusa.com will 'give' you merchandise for your old cigar bands.

They sure are left overs, of $300+ boxes. People buy them all the time so I put them out there. No one if forcing anyone to buy them. People want these boxes. I spent the money to buy them and I can sell them if I choose to...or not?

    Eddie,

Either you’ve never known, or you have forgotten the meaning of “community” and or “BOTL” when you’re completely inactive for long stretches of time, and you only show up to sell empty boxes / cigars.
Yeah, you’re not a scammer and you have spotless trading history, but to me selling empty boxes is profiteering and isn’t very BOTL. Yes, you can do whatever you want, but cigarsmokers isn’t eBay, nor is it meant to specifically sell / trade cigars & accessories.

Anyone who knows me, knows I give away so much its baffling. At times things change and a little extra cash is nice. All my stuff is priced well and usually HTF. Freebies always go out with packages. Usually worth more than what the shipping even costs me. But a bad BOTL...that's your opinion. I do appreciate you always following every post/thread I make to let me know you don't like what I do. I've gotten great feedback from people who enjoy the things I post up due to them being unavailable to them or just rare or just a good price. Ask the two winners from the last contest I did how they liked their packages...but then again a bad BOTL would never send out free cigars.

This was my first cigar board and always has a special place in my heart. This board has changed but I always come back here for some of the friends I have made. Some of which I only communicate through email or phone/txt or other boards. I also give this board the option of the cigars I sell. Why not? We are all lovers of the leaf and I always want the option of seeing whats out there regardless of which board it is on.

If you don't want me to post, please let me know. I hardly post anywhere anymore. Life gets in the way and unfortunately I cant sit in front of a computer all day like I used to.

I still enjoy smoking and sometimes still rate/review cigars. I still am dabbling into pipes although once again time limits that new hobby. I still enjoy the chase of finding the rare or just stockpiling the sticks I like and hoping I don't get tired of them.

This just seems more of a personal agenda vs anything else.

    Thanks for your time,

Everyone else. PM/emails have been sent/answered.

I don't know if you actually read my post, but it encourages you to participate more around here rather than just selling stuff.

I did actually read your post. And responded to all aspects of it.

Eddie...I trust you and would trade or buy from you any day. I do wish you would participate a bit more if you are going to sell. This place had a bit more comraderie than Online Humidor.

I really didn’t say anything bad in my post, nor did I insinuate that you’re a “bad” BOTL. In fact, I went on to compliment your trading history. I’m just saying that you may have forgotten what BOTL means. You yourself are admitting that you’re out of touch with this, your “home board”, but by allowing us the privilege of purchasing HTF, high end cigars, and rare empty boxes, you are making your contribution to the community.

That’s where my personal agenda kicks in.

That's great that this is your home board, and it's too bad that you're not able to spend more time here. Life does indeed get in the way. But if your only purpose on this board is to come on every three months and sell product, use the advertising section.

Like I said this is home turf. Between all the added responsibilities I have taken my little free time and have been spending most of it with my wife and dogs. The cigars are still there but the laptop stays at home. At work for 24hrs today. I'll be popping in and out on here since my the area I am in today is historically slow.

My post count on all the boards has bottomed out. But my life at home has really taken an upturn for the better. Not that is was ever bad, it just allows me to really focus on how awesome my family is. I was letting my online families take way to much time away from my real family(yes I spent the greater part of 5-6 hours a day on forums more on some days).

Once i move to my new place and stop paying for two mortgages and get settled into my "forever" home things may change. So until then I cant promise more activity. If I sell some things, I will still post them here also. If I have free time I will try to post up.

I'm not an advertiser and never will be. I smoke cigars(and pipes) Its what I do. If I can't measure up to a couple peoples' standards then maybe you should delete my account. It seems there are only two people on here than have a problem with me. If you two are the speakers of the house let me know.

Not gonna delete your account...You are welcome here. I applaud you for making the right decision family wise. I too don't have the time to post in the way I used to have. Family always is first. Based on what I know about you I'd bet you understand why the sale might have raised an eyebrow or two.

or more. I don't think I've ever seen an empty box offered for sale in the exchange forum. I could certainly be wrong, but I sure can't recall any. I've seen several given away, maybe shipping paid by the receiver, but that's about it.

Oh, please. You were around long enough as a regular contributor to know how this board works. Accounts don't get deleted.

Nobody on this thread "has a problem with you." The only problem I have is the fact that you're selling your boxes for profit. The last box of cigars I bought, the box was actually included with the price. That's why I recommended you sell your stuff in the advertising section.

Should I "advertise" that included freebies will exceed purchase price? But a bad BOTL only profits from the boards...

The flaw in your argument is no one buys on the exchange section looking for the added "freebies" you're so proud of.

ETA: The BOTL who throw some "freebies" in, do so because they're BOTL. And, since you're making time on your "home turf," take a quick look at the past 40 or 50 threads and check how many guys were making profit.
