Default 601 Habano Red Label ~ Torpedo

Smoke: 601 Habano Red Label ~ Torpedo
Drink: Anderson Valley B.C. ~ Hop Ottin IPA
    Tunes: N/A

    Wrapper: Nicaraguan
    Binder: Nicaraguan
    Filler: Nicaraguan
    Draw: medium
    Burn: n/a
    Misc: about 60min+

Pre-light: Colorado maduro shade wrapper. Good construction with moderate to heavy veined leaf. Has a musty tobacco scent. Tobacco and black licorice taste when cut.

Light: Did the cedar splint, ‘cause the lighter is upstairs…Easy with a medium draw.

1st 3rd: Woodsy, spicy, oily and nutty. Yet, all smooth and balanced sofar. Off the bat, it seems I’m in for a treat here. The oil is a nice accent to the IPA.

Ash: Very well layered light gray. Holds on for 1 ¼”

2nd 3rd: Basically like the first 3rd. Nice woodsy, oil. Cut it open a bit more. Much better draw. Spicy, but not overpowering. Not creamy either, but well balanced.

3rd 3rd: Delcious. Very consistent. Woodsy and oily with a great balance. Yes, it does taste “Nicaraguan”

Overall impression: Great blend. Great cigar.

    Thanks SLCraiders!

That ash just looks awesome. Nice even burn. I'm jealous!
