    Default Found a leak

So I found a leak in one of the corners of my humidor using a flashlight in a dark room.

I'm having trouble getting above 63%. Can you guys recommend a way for me to seal up the corner? Thanks.

I personally would use some foam tape to seal it and test it to see if that your problem.
don't go over board just use a small amount at the place its not sealing then test it for a week or so.

I think a bit of super glue applied carefully would seal it.

I think the opening is between the piece of wood from the lid that goes "into" the bottom section. It's almost like the sides of the bottom half need to be a little thicker.

I just put a very thin layer of 100% silicon rubber fish tank sealant I purchased a while ago around the inside rim of the lid and I think it will do the trick. Here is a pic. Let me know what you think...Thanks

If I were you, I'd leave it well enough alone. 63% RH is just about perfect to keep your cigars at.

Yup, that is about right for a desktop humidor isn't it? 60-65% is about right. I made a mistake to seal mine before and brought the RH up all the way to 70-75%, and I had a major catastrophic splits!
