It's not much of a stretch at this point to be honest. I don't drink that much anymore since I started running. Her bet is that she won't gamble for a year. The winner, aside from bragging rights, gets a fat casino trip or a computerized wood carver. I don't think she can do it but for the fact that she's freakishly competitive. I think I'll end up better off in the end either way![]()
Victory01...does that include every type of gambling? Lotto, bingo, scratch off, office pools, or even friendly wagers like..."I bet you so and so..." Good luckto you both...

I've been running pretty regularly for a couple years now. I ran the Seattle Marathon in Nov but will be sticking to shorter distances this year and working on my speed. Which marathon are you looking at? I can't remember where in Germany your stationed but Berlin is one of the fastest courses in the world.

I have a Padron serie 1926 Maduro 40th anniversary that is calling my name, I do believe I will smoke that one!
I'm not sure if I want to run in one here, France, or back in the states. I've been looking at maybe trying to run in one in San Fransisco area and catch a 9ers home game. Still in the planning phase. I'm in southern Germany, however, I have been looking at the Berlin Marathon as an option.

The older I get ,the better I was
The SF marathon is in JulyThere's also the Big Sur marathon in April but, aside from the quick date, that's some crazy terrain!!! Whatever one you pick as your first I'd go for scenery. I never would have gotten through it without something to look at. Unless you're fast the best asses run out of site before too long

New Year's Eve:
San Cristoba El Morro
I don't know if it mattered but I smoked it in the afternoon in my "man cave" (read: hunting trailer) out in the driveway
Very nice smoke. Went well with a nice big cup of coffee.
My first cigar of the year, Jan 1st (also in my man cave) was a Santa Damiana Vintage Maduro
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
