Thread: St. Dupont Lighter: What lighter do I have?

  1. Default St. Dupont Lighter: What lighter do I have?

I got this lighter from my stepfather last year as a gift, and he passed away, so I never did get to ask him which lighter it is.

Does anyone happen to know which lighter this is, and if it is genuine or not?

Serial at the bottom is: ER4542

    No idea.

What is it with the St. Dupont lighters?

Someone should go through and find all the St. Dupont real/fake threads and tag them so we can find them faster for the next guy who asks this question.

EDIT: We've had a few, maybe four or five but won't a simple search on the word "Dupont" be better then searching tags which is more complicated?

If the "taggers" want to start "tagging" then there should be some consistency on how to "tag" S.T. Dupont:

    ST Dupont
    st. Dupont
    st dupont
    ST. Du Pont
    st. Du Pont
    St. DuPont

    or the correct way:
    S.T. Dupont

    Coulda been "Street" too!

You're the only "Saint" around here.

From now on your new Delta Tau Chi name is "Saint Buzz" "Why Saint Buzz?" "Why NOT?"

search "dupont" and about 6 pages of results come up (unless I'm using search incorrectly)

Now, search S.T. dupont & only 4 come up (excluding sales in the advertising section)

I think it is appearing more as people who have run broke are starting to find everything they possibly can to sell..lol.. at least in my case anyways.

I do also think a better seach function in vBulletin would certainly be peachy

Try google. S.T. Dupont actually has their own website, perhaps they even have a contact us button or something so you can ask them directly.

Oh, WTF, here ya go: http://www.st-dupont.com/en

I appreciate your honesty / humor.

That said, do you smoke cigars & wish to commune about them, or are you here to figure out how much your lighter is worth, and then you'll bounce?

    Will

Initially it was to find out the value of the lighter, however I've been browsing and never realized that there is so much to cigars, flavored, unflavored, styles. I always thought that they were pretty well all the same.. turns out I am so wrong on all levels. In short, I will be staying and enhancing my knowledge on Cigars
