Default Need a lilttle input for a Noobie..whats your Favorite??

    Hey All

So I am trying to do a little research on flavored vs non flavored , (Personally I enjoy both) but with the time at the local Smoke shop and reading magazines ,now joining up here.I still could use a little input for a beginner from a Veteran Palate ..

If you could recommend a cigar that was within reasonable price ,and one that I can find at a well stocked humidor ,what would it be ?

Ive read about the disliking of "Acid " brand Cigars and I have to be honest,.I kinda liked them .But then again my palate is new and I dont know any better .

I enjoy non flavored Gars as well ,so Im open to anything..Just no Phille Blunts,Swisher

    thanks

Try a Padron 3000 ~ natural wrapper or a maduro wrapper
If the place doesn't have that, try something from the Arturo Fuente Hemmingway line. If neither of those, try something from Oliva, like the "G" line or the "V" line.

As above, although I'd expand the above to any Padron, Oliva, or Fuente - or Davidoff. There are lots of cigars out there and lots of fun to be had trying different brands and sizes, but I always compare any new smoke to the above benchmarks (at the same price/wrapper/type/etc.), and more often than not, the benchmark is what I would have preferred.

Others will have different benchmarks, of course.

Also, stay away from fake Cubans.

If you still need a flavored cigar, try the Drew Estates Natural Dirt cigars. Taste just like the second bowl of Cocoa Krispies when you're reusing the milk.

For non-flavored, Casa Magna might be a good one for you, as it seems to be a favorite among a wide variety of cigar smokers.

I can recommend many cigars but they're all too expensive. Sorry.....

I also would vote for the Padron 'thousand' series...
I remember when I started out, really enjoying an Avo Domaine as well. Maybe first try a smaller gauge cigar, to start out with.

For a infused /flavored cigar give a Java a try.
For non flavored try a Punch.
