    Default Authenticity.

Not about cigars, about Humidors. I was looking for a cheap humidor to start a little collection and of course I'll have to show it off My question is if I see something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...egory=133&rd=1 how will i know if it is a real working humidor, and if it is used if it still work well?

That one will do just fine. Don't worry about "used" humidors don't "wear out"

Is the main difference between lower and higher priced humidors the quality of construction? I know there are many variables like types of materials, who makes it, etc.

The main difference I can see is one of style. Some humidors are made out of nice materials that make it an attractive piece of furniture. If you aren't necessarily concerned with how it looks, then an inexpensive humidor works fine. And if you want to build your own, there are many guides on the net to how to build your own "coolidor".
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

Thanks guys. On the same note, I found a large furniture pice humidor on ebay for 20 bucks, 50 dollars shipping, no reserve price. it stores approximately 500...that would be a nice way to get my collection started I'd say it would take awhile to fill up.

LOL that's what you think... wait till you get started, then you won't be able to find one big enough
There are 10 kinds of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who don't.
