Default Diesel Unlimited ~ d.5 (toro)

Smoke: Diesel Unlimited ~ d.5 (toro)
    Drink: Avery ~ Joe’s Pilsner
    Tunes: The Wire, Season 3
    Date Smoked: not recorded

    Wrapper: Honduran
    Binder: Nicaraguan
    Filler: Nicaraguan / Mexican
    Draw: Medium to tight
    Burn: Good
    Misc: n/a

Pre-light: Maduro shade wrapper. Nice construction with a silky, small veined wrapper. Musty tobacco scent. Sweet tobacco taste on the cut.

Light: Easy with a medium – tight draw.

1st 3rd: Sweet tobacco with an oily ring. Kinda 1 dimensional, but enjoyable sofar. Oily takes precedent, but not overpowering. Medium body, medium flavor.

Ash: Light gray with tiny ash bubbles. Holds on for about 1”

2nd 3rd: Sweet, but also bitter oil. Plain and 1 dimensional. Not bad, but not great either.

3rd 3rd: Like the 2nd. A little spicy. Sweet tobacco and oil. A decent mix. Nothing spectacular.

Overall impression: Somewhat underwhelming, so I’m not really going to look for these.

Thanks, Diagz for the opportunity to try one.

Like the ashtray, Yeungling is a good companion to cigars.
