Default Man O War Puros Authenticos Natural

Smoke: Man O War Puros Authenticos Natural
Drink: Cricket Hill ~ Colonel Blindes Cask Ale
Tunes: Clutch ~ Strange Cousins from the Prince
    Date Smoked: 1/15/12

    Wrapper: Nicaraguan
    Binder: Nicaraguan
    Filler: Nicaraguan
    Draw: Medium
    Burn: Good
Misc: Started at about 6:00PM, and went to about 7:00PM

Pre-light: Pigtail cap, and shag foot. Colorado – maduro shade wrapper. Has a leathery / musty tobacco scent. Spicy / sweet tobacco / leathery taste on cut prelight taste.

    Light: Easy. Medium draw.

1st 3rd: Spicy. Leather and tobacco notes. Strong, full body flavors. A sipper for sure. Overbearing retrohale blasts.

Ash: Crisp white, and layered well. Holds on for about 3/4”

2nd 3rd: Full body. Sweet tobacco, leather & musky oaky flavors. Lots of spice. It’s blended well. Forces you to take your time.

3rd 3rd: Needed a purge at this point. Same spicy profile, but strangely has mellowed a bit in the last 3rd. Leather, spice, sweet tobacco is subdued a bit. Actually, a lot of leather now, and I’m getting some “ash” tongue.

Overall impression: Good addition to the MOW line.

    Thanks logan37!!!!

The MOW Puro & the Plasencia TKO are two of my favorite Underrated cigars.
Both are very inexpensive and pack a nice punch to them.

Happy to hear you enjoyed it Will. This is my favorite of the MOW smokes.

This is one of my favorite smokes in the winter. Nice nicaraguan ligero and short enough to be smoked before you get frostbite. Out of the MOW line, I only prefer the Armada over this one. This one is much more affordable.

...and at only $5 at your garage sale, it's quite a bargain!
