Second of all, I am not interested in detering you from buying a box of V's, go for it. I paid 6 dollars at the store so I was just asking the same for them. A five pack at famous-smoke without shipping is $29 which is about 6 dollars. Lastly I cannot sell these for $10 shipped. That is ridiculous. If you have a serious interest in buying anything, try talking to me instead of accusing me. Who knows we may work out a good deal. I might be easy to talk to.
let me see if I understand you correctly. When you bought those cigars, did you think to yourself they'd be an investment? In other words - I'll but them now, age them a piece, then sign up at a cigar board to sell them for more than what i paid? ...on your very first post?

If nothing else that's sure egocentric (putting it kindly)...

Have you given much thought about selling them on Craig's list?.

    I hear you!

...but - by the same token - I don't know that I'm that willing to overpay for cigars, unless it's for an equally good cause.

Just to make sure we are all on the same page here I will sum it up. I think what we are all trying to say is if you will show up at any of our houses in a girl scout uniform we will pay whatever price you ask for your cigars. That is what we are all saying, right?

I did not hear any one saying that KB. What I heard said and I will own this statement with the word I, if it was a not for profit organization supporting a good cause like the boy scouts or Girl scouts then paying over the price that the product may actually be valued at would mostly like happen. Believe me you dressed as a girl scout knocking at my front door selling your over priced cigars would only promote a call to the police.

I dunno, Cinda. If fromunda showed up at my door wearing a girl scout uniform selling overpriced cigars I might be tempted to buy just one. That's, of course, after I finished snickering....

I just wonder why someone would put themselves out there like that - acknowledge in the same post she knew it to be bad form - but then continue on as if nothing were wrong.

I'm confident it's not only you and I that were astonished with her audaciousness...

So wait a minute. Is it Cinda or George who is dressing up like a girl scout? Eitherway, wear pigtails and I'll pay cash.

If you want to impress people, just keep a Thesaurus next to your computer or you can be like Kevin and me and just swear a lot.

I guess fromunda isn't interested in selling me his Oliva Vs. Oh well, his loss......

I work on the operations side of a retail business which gives me absolute authority to confirm that not only customers but also potential customers generally feel as if they have the right to be complete assholes. For a small fee I can provide various pie charts and bar graphs as proof. The whole thing is incredibly scientific.

How about sellers being assholes? How many assholes are successful salesmen? Do you have pie hole charts and bars on that too? If you're running a bar, I'll have a Myers's and coke with a lime.

I agree Mr. Coventry. Sellers can be assholes too. In fact guys who work on the operations side of a retail business can be as well. For example, I really don't have any charts and will noy be creating any. I got you guys all excited about seeing some sweet pie charts and now I have to let you down. Me = asshole. The drink you asked for will be going out USPS by Thursday. If it doesn't spill in route you should be enjoying it soon. I trust that this gesture will smooth things over with us.

See that kingbeefy, I didn't even see Kevin's post because it was on the next page when I was replying to you and we wound up saying pretty much the same thing, LOL! That means if us two clowns are thinking the same thing about you then you gotta be doing something right.

Well, that's one way to look at it.

I also have grown to love the term "asshat" and I have decided to aspire to be one when I grow up.
You'll do alright here I reckon.

Looking at the tags for this thread I'm wondering, who's asshole #1 and who's asshole #2
